Job summary

Bowman seeks an entry-level Mechanical Engineer I to join our Towson, MD team. You will perform mechanical design and develop construction documents, working with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in mechanical or architectural engineering, familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit, and knowledge of HVAC modeling tools. EIT/LEED are preferred; diverse, inclusive growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering or related field.
• Entry level; any professional experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, Trane Trace and/or eQuest modeling software.
• EIT and LEED accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems following current codes and sound engineering principles.
• Produce construction documents and estimates within budget.
• Communicate with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Conduct field observations and document conditions.
• Attend design meetings and develop project specifications.
