Pratt & Whitney's Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) HPC Design group seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to support F135 Base or ECU HPC CIPTs. The role includes leadership in high‑priority tasks and collaboration with IPTLs and program managers.

You will apply 3D modeling, support ECUs, perform risk analyses, mentor junior engineers, and travel 10–20% domestically as needed. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop design solutions meeting program milestones.
• Lead producibility initiatives and EFPRs, on-site or remote.
• Support ECU design validation activities; coordinate module integration.
• Apply advanced 3D modeling to component- and module-level designs.
• Lead or support root-cause analyses for field incidents.
• Collaborate with IPTs across design, structures, aero, HTSF, manufacturing and quality.
