Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related) preferred.
- ~5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on, collaborative across teams for problem solving.
- SolidWorks and ERP familiarity with BOM management.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and CNC is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the full design lifecycle from concept through production release.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and shop drawings in SolidWorks.
- Design with manufacturing in mind: sheet metal and fabrication.
- Build BOMs and manage part numbers across assemblies.
- Collaborate with sales, product and manufacturing teams.
- Support production with design updates and troubleshooting.
- Run simulations and analyses to ensure reliability.
- Drive design changes and ECNs for process improvements.
