Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Houston, TX for an immediate opening. We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience with the ability to be onsite most days in Northern Houston, TX.

In this design role, you will have the opportunity to design (2D and 3D modeling using CAD) and test products such as valves, pumps, engine parts, and more. You will lead projects and assist with the design and testing for other projects in a collaborative team environment. This is the ideal role for someone who thrives on solving complex mechanical problems and can successfully design products from concept to launch.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new mechanical systems products (pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic valve actuation design)
• Uses previous experience in design of combustion engines parts including gate valve, butterfly valve, thermodynamics, DFMEA, and PPAP to design new products for internal and external customers.
• Onsite in Houston, TX most days and when testing products, some remote flexibility.
