As a Senior Mechanical Engineer Specialist, you’ll lead of designs from concept to closeout—driving innovation, mentoring teams, and shaping the future mission-critical infrastructure.

Position Location: Remote – work virtually from anywhere in the United States (up to 10% travel)

Job Summary:

• Perform intermediate to advanced mechanical system design and analysis
• Size pumps, piping, and components using load calculations and simulations
• Develop HVAC controls sequences and prepare specs, drawings (AutoCAD/Revit)
• Collaborate with Project Managers; Lead project design teams
• Serve as primary design contact and maintain client relationships
• Mentor interns and junior staff
• Gather data and prepare design/construction documents
• Review submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout documents

Requirements:

• Travel up to 10%, US
• Minimum of eight years of mechanical engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering /PE in related discipline
• Knowledge of designing most airside and hydronic mechanical systems
• Knowledge of codes, code analysis and specifications for mechanical systems
• Knowledge of DDC controls and monitoring for HVAC systems
• Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC systems
• Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD and / or Revit
