We’re representing an industrial design-build firm that’s actively looking to relocate a Mechanical Design Engineer to one of their Midwest offices (Cincinnati or Fort Wayne). Based in Houston, you likely bring experience with ammonia or CO₂ refrigeration systems and are seeking a new opportunity to lead technical design projects in a stable, growth-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design ammonia, CO₂, and large hydronic piping systems for industrial facilities
• Engage with clients to assess technical needs and develop solutions
• Create cost estimates, detailed proposals, and technical presentations
• Work with vendors and suppliers to identify the best equipment options
• Oversee project scheduling and documentation
• Support internal growth by mentoring junior staff and refining processes

What You Bring
