Job summary

Hadrian is hiring a mechanical design engineer to build accurate CAD models from naval and aerospace drawings, and to create internal models for each manufacturing state. You will own the PLM data structure and oversee release workflows, delivering clean changes across part families.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, programming, and inspection teams to enable fast design changes and seamless production support. A bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional mechanical design experience with production CAD models and drawings.
• Proficiency in at least one parametric 3D CAD platform (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks).
• Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and PLM release/change control.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate CAD models from naval and aerospace drawings and legacy prints.
• Create internal CAD models and drawings for each manufacturing state.
• Own PLM data structure and move parts through the release workflow.
• Execute customer and internal changes across part families with coordination.
