Job summary

Hadrian in Los Angeles is hiring a mechanical design engineer to build accurate CAD models from naval prints and aerospace drawings, and to develop internal models for each manufacturing state (M-state). You will own the PLM data structure and drive part releases through the workflow.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, programming, and inspection teams to deliver clean, parametric models and manage multiple product releases, while applying GD&T and standard release practices in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience with production CAD models/drawings.
• Proficiency in at least one parametric 3D CAD platform and ability to model from 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate CAD models from naval prints, aerospace drawings, legacy prints, and other customer data.
• Create internal CAD models and drawings for each manufacturing state (M-state).
• Own PLM data structure and move parts through the release workflow.
• Execute customer and internal changes across part families and M-states.
• Partner with manufacturing, tooling, programming, and inspection teams to deliver clean, parametric models.
