Vertex is offering a 6‑month Mechanical Automation Co‑Op for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. You will work with the Automating Machinery & Processes team to design, model, and help bring automated equipment from concept to reality.

This paid, full‑time program runs January through June 2027 in Boston or Providence, with hybrid/on‑site options. Applicants must be enrolled in an advanced degree program (graduating after June 2027) and

Qualifications

• Mechanical Design and modeling experience.
• Drawing parts and assemblies with GD&T.
• Proficiency in MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel.

Responsabilités

• Work with Automating Machinery & Processes team to design or participate in the design of mechanisms, robotics, and automated equipment.
• Develop Detailed Design Specifications and BOMs for automated equipment.
• Contribute to facility and utility requirements, FAT/SAT reports, and equipment layouts.
