Job summary

Aerotek is hiring 1st or 2nd shift Mechanical Assemblers in Chaska, MN. Join a Union environment manufacturing radiators and coils, reading blueprints, and using hand and power tools to build quality units in a clean, modern facility.

The role requires reading blueprints, measuring materials, standing 8-10 hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Onsite, with 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 2:30 PM–1:00 AM shifts, Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, construction, or related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble radiators and radiator coils from blueprints and work orders.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Use drills and fasteners to secure parts and assemblies.
• Perform quality inspections and verify measurements.
• Operate basic production and fabrication equipment.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area through 5S practices.

Now Hiring: 1st or 2nd Shift Mechanical Assemblers (Union)

Pay: $22-$24/hr

Location: Chaska, MN

Shifts: 6:00AM-2:30PM Mon-Fri OR 2:30PM-1:00AM Mon-Thurs

Job Summary: Join a growing manufacturing iwthin the Union team assembling radiators and radiator coils used in copper piping systems. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, measuring materials, using hand and power tools, and building quality products in a clean, modern facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble radiators and radiator coils from blueprints and work orders
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble components using hand and power tools
• Use drills and fasteners to secure parts and assemblies
• Perform quality inspections and verify measurements
• Operate basic production and fabrication equipment
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized work area through 5S practices

Qualifications:

• 1 year of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, construction, or related experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately

Other Related Experience:

• Auto mechanic, HVAC, fabrication, or construction experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47153.00 - $47153.60/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
