Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time, on-site role in Rutherford, NJ. The position runs 4pm-3:30am Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays, and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities include measuring with calipers/micrometers, crimping and wiring, assembling pumps/motors, and performing tool maintenance. Soldering and bench work are also required, with training available for diagrams and schematics.

Qualifications

• Measurement of dimensions with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Experience with crimping, stripping and connecting wires.
• Assembling pumps, blowers and motors.
• Daily maintenance of measuring tools and calibration awareness.
• Use of hand tools and bench work.
• Ability to follow diagrams or schematics.
• Minor soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Crimp, strip and connect wires and cables as required.
• Assemble pumps, blowers and motors per drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance on measuring tools.
• Utilize hand tools and conduct bench work.

IMMEDIATE MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS AVAILABLE! ($21-23/HR)

Large company with opportunity for growth looking for MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS to join their team.

Pay: $21-23/HR

Location: Rutherford, NJ

Shift: 4pm-3:30am Monday-Thursday & Overtime on Friday

*Must be open to working overtime on weekends when needed

Job Description:

• -Measure and verify dimensions and tolerances using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• -Experience with crimping, stripping, and connecting wires and cables
• -Assembling pumps, blowers, and motors
• -Conduct daily maintenance on measuring tools and flag upcoming calibration needs.
• -Utilizing hand tools and doing bench work
• -Ability to follow diagrams or schematics
• -Minor Soldering

*Position is a fulltime and permanent role

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.79 - $23.79/hr.
