Job summary

Aerotek in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Assembler II to build mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand and power tools, following blueprints and specifications while maintaining safety, accuracy and quality on the production floor.

1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm. Pay range $23.00–$24.00/hr. This contract-to-hire role requires lifting 50–60 lbs, interpreting diagrams, and collaborating with teammates to meet production goals and deliver high-quality units.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for mechanical assembly work.
  • Experience operating power tools safely and effectively during assembly processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings.
  • Capability to perform wire harness assembly, routing, and termination.

Job Title: Assembler II

The Assembler II plays a key role in building mechanical and electrical assemblies, using hand and power tools to produce high-quality units. This position focuses on assembling components, including wire harnesses, according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency on the production floor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a Mechanical Assembler or in a similar assembly role.
  • Soldering experience is a plus and beneficial for electrical assembly tasks.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components used in assemblies.
  • Comfort working with larger assemblies, including units as big as a small refrigerator.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and assembly techniques.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $24.00/hr.
