Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Assembler for a contract-to-hire role in Fountain Inn, SC. The position runs on the 3rd shift, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, onsite at our facility.

The expected pay is $19.50 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and weekly pay. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing in-process inspections, operating hand and power tools, lifting up to 50 lbs, and ensuring quality standards through repetitive assembly tasks.

• Work off a tablet to find job orders.
• Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions.
• Perform repetitive and skilled assembly operations to meet quality and production standards.
• Conduct basic quality checks and identify defects or non‑conformances.
• Use hand and power tools, including power screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers.

3rd shift: 9pm-5:30a (Sun-Thu)

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately.

• Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure assembly meets all standards.

• Work off a tablet to find job orders.

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions.

• Perform repetitive and skilled assembly operations to meet quality and production standards.

• Conduct basic quality checks and identify defects or non‑conformances.

Essential Skills:

• Manufacturing experience within assembly

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Understanding of mechanical assembly, electronic assembly, and electrical assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 – $19.50/hr.
