Summary:

The ideal candidate will:

• Be safety-conscious and enjoy hands-on work.
• Assemble and disassemble various components.
• Document daily activities.
• Possess good mechanical skills.
• Perform cleaning, grinding, painting, and related tasks on buildings, equipment, components, and subassemblies.
• Handle cleanup activities, including removal of trash, coolant, oil, scrap, and chips.
• Work courteously and collaboratively with others.
• Complete Maintenance Request Forms for repairs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to high housekeeping standards.
• Report unsafe acts or areas to management with a safety-conscious attitude.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools.
• Basic math skills relevant to shop operations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of crane operations, including safety, inspections, and handling.
• Experience with forklift operation, including safety, loading, unloading, and inspections.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work from bills of material, purchasing lists, shipping documents, and parts supplies.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn critical processes and operations.
• Resourcefulness and goal-oriented attitude.
