WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures.
• Work well with your hands and have a strong eye for detail.
• Be willing to learn and thrive in an environment with hands-on instruction as a journeyman tool and die maker / machinist.
• Have a working knowledge of engineering, science, design, and technology.
• Be highly detail-oriented and a perfectionist.
• Set-up and operate all machine tools in a tool room environment, including mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Work independently with minimal guidance.

YOU HAVE:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Trade school experience preferred (Machining, Fabrication, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Capability to use standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges, and calipers.
• Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of working in the tool room and troubleshooting in the press room.
