Aerotek is hiring a Cable Assembler in Beverly, MA for a contract-to-hire position. Shift is 7:00am - 3:30pm. The role involves assembling small connector parts and cable assemblies at a bench using hand tools, and may include basic soldering and reading blueprints.

You will work in a cleanroom-like environment and collaborate with the production team to meet output and quality targets. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour; applicants may be eligible for benefits if applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with small connector parts and cable assemblies.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams for electrical cable assemblies.
• Proficiency with basic soldering and precision assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small connector parts and cable assemblies at a work bench using tweezers and other hand tools.
• Use a microscope or magnifying glass to position and secure very small components with precision.
• Follow written work instructions and production documentation to complete assemblies correctly and consistently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams related to electrical cable assemblies.
• Perform basic soldering tasks as required for cable and connector assembly.
• Prepare cables and connectors for assembly, including stripping, crimping, and organizing components.
• Conduct basic visual inspection of assembled parts to verify quality and compliance with standards.
• Use basic math to verify measurements, counts, and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with cleanroom-type manufacturing practices.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet output, quality, and schedule requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
