Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel fleet technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair refuse trucks starting at $25-$30 per hour. The role involves 2pm shifts with 8-12 hour days, OT after 40 hours, and potential advancement based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Starting Pay: $25-$30/hr

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift

2pm start time, expect 8-12hr shifts. Start earlier and get out earlier on Fridays. OT after 40hrs worked.
