Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division is seeking a Mechanic to perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, repair Diesel Refuse Trucks, and maintain hydraulic and electrical systems to keep fleet running safely.

Shift: 10am-8pm M-F with overtime after 40 hours. Starting pay $25-$35 per hour plus sign-on bonuses and benefits including PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days and 401(k) after 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hr

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Sign On Bonus Included! $500 upon hire. $1,000 after 6 months. $1,000 after 1 year.
