Job Title: Mechanic

Location: 425 Paul Rd, Chili, NY, 14624

Schedule available: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm

Position Overview: Provide necessary and appropriate inspections and repairs to agency vehicles. Completes all necessary paperwork for each repair as well as develops van maintenance schedules within time/mileage requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repair Maintain vehicles on scheduled basis.
2. Complete all necessary paperwork for each repair job.
3. Develop van maintenance schedule within time/mileage requirements.
4. Secures and cares for all shop tools, and the maintenance facility.
5. Drive routes as assigned by Transportation Director/Designee.
6. Attend and maintains all required training including but not limited to First Aid/CPR and C-Pat.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic. Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License if needed. Must meet LAI's Vehicle Operator Requirements. Passage of agency road test.
