Job description

Job Title: Equipment Mechanic - ENI Embedded (3x3 Rotation)

Location: Remote - Alaska

Reports to: Project Manager

Salary Range: $50 - $55 DOE

Schedule: 3x3 – 7 x 12 Hour Weeks

Per Diem / Housing: Covered By UOSS

What You Will Do:

A successful candidate will repair or replace numerous types of equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with assistance from other departments. Read and understand engineering and manufacturer's drawings and specifications. Occasionally supervise contract workers. Assist in the continued development of the maintenance program to maintain compliance with PSM regulations. This is a rotation schedule which will involve 12 Hour Days, 7 Days a Week For 3 Weeks. Housing and food will be provided while on site by UOSS.


What You Will Need (minimum qualifications):

  • Five (5) years of mechanical experience working on heavy industrial work, pumps, and compressors.
  • Working knowledge of pumps, reciprocating compressors, and turbines.
  • Working knowledge of crane hand signals.
  • Knowledge of machine tools.
  • Knowledge of principles of lubrication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate support for the company’s environmental management system.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • Ability to mentor co-workers.

Experience:

  • North Slope Experience, Preferred.
  • Mechanical Experience, REQUIRED.
  • NSTC, Preferred.
  • Preferred experience with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
