Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Trades Specialist II (Mech/HVAC) to support facilities across western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy.

Under limited supervision, you will diagnose and repair mechanical and HVAC systems, using hand tools and welding equipment, following safety and QA guidelines. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CFC certification, five years of related experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CFC Certification required upon hire.
• Five years of directly related Mechanical/HVAC experience.
• Second trade knowledge through on-the-job training considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble sources.
• Dismantle and repair subsystems using hand tools.
• Replace defective parts from stock and document repairs.
• Install and service HVAC systems per blueprints and specs.
• Operate and test electrical controls and safety devices.
• May supervise lower level maintenance workers as needed.
