JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to western test ranges under J-Tech II for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. The role focuses on maintenance of facilities, machinery and HVAC systems, with duties spanning diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance in field environments.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete an apprenticeship. A DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; travel to remote sites and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment terminology and systems.
• Basic PC skills and ability to maintain records/files.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Citizenship in the United States and ability to meet security clearance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical equipment; perform repairs using hand tools.
• Dismantle subsystems, replace defective parts from stock, and reassemble equipment.
• Prepare written specifications for major repairs and ensure operations meet specifications.
• Work with HVAC systems, including installation, service, and repair of environmental-control equipment.
• May supervise and guide lower-level maintenance workers as required.
