Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy.

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will install and repair electrical systems, read blueprints, perform load calculations, and lead junior technicians as needed. The role requires a high school diploma with an apprenticeship and five years of related experience, plus the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and formal apprenticeship training.
• Five (5) years of directly related work experience in electrical base trade.
• Working knowledge of a second trade.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• May be required to qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must have a valid, current state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair electrical equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
• Examine blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems.
• Perform load computations for wiring or electrical equipment.
• Use hand tools, measuring, and testing instruments specific to the electrical trade.
• May provide work direction and/or instruct lower level maintenance workers.
