Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Trades Specialist IV - Mechanical/HVAC to lead the on-site repairs of facilities, machinery, and related systems at Edwards Air Force Base. The role requires journeyman-level proficiency in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical, a formal apprenticeship, and a U.S.

citizenship. The incumbent will supervise technicians, prepare repair specifications, and ensure compliance with safety and government standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a two-year accredited technical institution or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman-level proficiency in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical with 15 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and technical expertise to technicians in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC and related equipment.
• Oversee technicians with breakdowns and repairs using hand tools.
• Prepare specifications for major repairs or parts from machine shops.
• Lead technicians in reassembly and adjustments for operation.
• Provide input on project status and budgeting.
