Job summary

PAY-AND-SAVE, INC. is seeking a Meat Wrapper to support the Meat department with wrapping, weighing and pricing of meats while maintaining rotation and quality standards.

The role interacts with the Meat Manager and store teammates to ensure accurate product handling and customer service. Responsibilities include following procedures for receiving, pricing, restocking, sanitation and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various meat cuts and their uses.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good customer relations skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to calculate mixture ratios for cleaning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh and price all meats and related products.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated according to procedures.
• Receive, weigh, price mark and break down meat products.
• Maintain quality, count/weight checks and vendor invoice accuracy.
• Train department teammates and support merchandising plans.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with policies.
