Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Proficiency in basic math.
• Willing to work in other areas of the store as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learns to package authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to company policies and procedures.
• Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards.
• Maintains displays and case signs to maximize sales.
• May assist with product ordering.
• Rotates dates per policy; maintains cold chain during storage and display.
• Prepares meat cuts for display to look attractive to customers.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery.
• Completes cleaning and sanitation of meat cases and rooms.
• Follows all company policies and procedures including FOOD SAFETY and SANITATION.
