Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead one of the busiest departments in our store. You will assist in managing meat and seafood operations, coaching teammates, and ensuring quality, freshness, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in grocery retail Meat department highly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to train and develop team members.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing Meat & Seafood staff.
• Ensure compliance with receiving, stocking, sanitation and company procedures.
