Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking team members for the Meat Department to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats while helping Members with questions and recommendations.

You will maintain cleaning and safety standards, support other departments as needed, and uphold club policies. Growth and teamwork are emphasized in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
