The role requires at least 2 years meat cutting experience with leadership, ability to stand long hours, lift up to 90 lbs, manage scheduling, training, and performance reviews, with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have basic math skills.
• Minimum of 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant industry, including leadership.
• Ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously, and up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Capable of lifting/carrying products 25–90 lbs. and operating related equipment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor toward team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and promotions with Store Manager input.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings and staff development.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Lead scheduling to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate standards, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
• Lead a team to deliver the highest quality products and customer service.
