Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood Department, drive sales, maintain high standards of quality, and deliver an extraordinary customer experience in a fast-paced environment. You will plan cutting lists, supervise coaching, manage schedules, and partner with the Store Manager on hiring and promotions while upholding safety, accuracy, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant industry including leadership experience.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift/carry products 25–90 lbs and operate pallet jack and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists; process meat to meet department goals and standards.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, and participate in in-store meetings.
• Recruit, hire and collaborate on promotions with the Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and service; serve as MOD when needed.
