Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a grocery or retail setting.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of Meat and Seafood departments and safety standards.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory software is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Leads management of the Meat and Seafood department and staff.
• Wields labor, production and inventory planning to meet sales goals.
• Ensures meat/seafood is cut, weighed, and priced per policy and regulations.
• Maintains merchandising standards and department cleanliness.
• Provides exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Leads training, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Upholds food safety and safety policy compliance.
• Builds vendor relationships and manages back-stock.
