Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood Manager in daily operations, inventory control, and staff supervision. You will help maintain high product quality and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and ongoing training to deliver the best possible experience for customers in our Reno store. Previous grocery meat experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in grocery retail, preferably in meat department processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, orders, and team performance.
• Excellent customer service orientation and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in operating and merchandising the department.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the team.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with company guidelines.
