Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. in California is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood Department, drive sales and operations, and mentor a team to deliver the freshest products and the best customer experience.

Candidates should have 2+ years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant settings, leadership experience, and the physical ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with basic math skills.
• Minimum of 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant with leadership experience.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift; walking up to 2 miles per shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire and promote decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver the finest quality of product and highest level of service.
