Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department position in Windham, CT. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats and assist Members with product questions and recommendations.

Responsibilities include assisting in seafood, rotisserie, and prepared foods sections while maintaining cleaning and safety standards. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines.
• Prior experience in meat and/or deli departments.
• Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions on meats, seafood, and prepared foods.
• Weigh, wrap, and label cuts of meat and seafood; assist in packaging.
• Inspect freshness and rotate stock; ensure cases are stocked and merchandised.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
• Support other departments as needed and follow club policies.
