Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats. You’ll assist Members by answering questions and recommending products, ensuring quality and safety across meat, seafood, and prepared foods.

You’ll weigh, label, and package cuts, stock cases, rotate by expiration, and help maintain a clean, organized department. The role emphasizes teamwork, fast execution, and a commitment to club policies and member

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, weighs, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery to meet quality standards.
• Maintains fully stocked and rotated meat, seafood, and cheese cases according to expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, displays, and areas in the meat department.
• Provides friendly service and answers member questions, making product recommendations.
