Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member to assist with cutting, wrapping, and merchandising meats, poultry, and seafood. You will help Members, maintain cleanliness, and support club standards to ensure a high-quality experience.

The role emphasizes accurate labeling, stocking, safety, and teamwork to deliver Gold Club standards and exceptional service to members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Whands, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
