Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to receive, rotate, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats, and to assist with seafood, rotisserie, prepared foods and cheeses. You will help Members by answering questions and recommending products, while maintaining all cleaning and safety standards in the meat department.

Responsibilities include stocking cases, rotating products by expiry dates, inspecting deliveries, and supporting a safe, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines.
• Prior experience in meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function.
