Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the Meat department to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, and to assist Members by answering questions and recommending products.

You will maintain clean, safe displays, stock the meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses, apply club standards daily, and work with teammates to deliver fast, friendly service while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience in meat/deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises meats and seafood.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Answers questions and recommends products to Members.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the meat department.
• Rotates products according to expiration dates and stocks cases.
• Ensures all equipment and displays are clean and properly signed.
