Job summary

The ideal candidate has experience in portion cutting meat, strong numerical skills, good English communication, and a proven ability to work safely in refrigerated environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and conversions to determine the amounts and sizes of products needed for orders.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
• Prior experience with portion cutting meat.

Responsibilities

• Direct the short-term flow and organization of the production area with team support.
• Accurately cut to trim and yield specifications as per cut tickets.
• Communicate discrepancies between cutting tickets and customer purchases to supervisor.
• Label products and equipment to comply with safety regulations.
• Record data to produce cutting yield tests and maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure product specs are met and USDA guidelines followed.
