Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and conversions to determine the amounts and sizes of products needed for orders.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
• Prior experience with portion cutting meat.

Responsibilities

• Direct the short-term flow and organization of the production area.
• Accurately cut to trim and yield specifications as per cut tickets.
• Label products and equipment to meet legal and safety regulations.
• Record data to produce cutting yield tests and maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure product specs meet guidelines and comply with USDA standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and properly handle knives and scales.
