Job summary

Sysco in the United States is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the Production and Production Warehouse departments, manage budgets, and lead associates to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will develop production plans, determine headcount, schedule resources, monitor cost performance, coach Supervisors, enforce SOPs, and drive employee engagement across shifts.

This role requires strong communication, problem solving and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management preferred.
• 7+ years in production/manufacturing in a food environment, with 2+ years leading a team. HACCP/GMP preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Determine headcount requirements and labor utilization needed to achieve production and business goals.
• Schedule equipment and team resources needed to support each production plan.
• Track component yield rates ensuring that actual results meet or exceed business goals.
• Manage work order maintenance ensuring that work orders are audited and closed in appropriate fiscal periods.
• Set performance metrics for each department to track and monitor productivity.
