Save A Lot - Siston Group in Peebles, OH seeks a Meat Department Trainee to assist the Meat Cutter and store management. You will help keep the meat case clean and well stocked while learning Save A Lot standards.

Responsibilities include handling beef, pork, and poultry cuts, maintaining the cold chain, and upholding sanitation and quality daily. This entry-level role offers training and opportunities for advancement in a family-owned grocer with strong community ties.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools, and power equipment; WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON!

Responsabilidades

• Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork, and poultry items according to Save A Lot policies and procedures.
• Places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to Save A Lot procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain the cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A Lot policy
