Job summary

Save A Lot - Raj-AL Moultrie LLC in Georgia is seeking a Meat Cutter to ensure the store’s meat department meets company standards, drives sales, and delivers customer satisfaction by trimming and preparing standard cuts.

The role requires assisting with product ordering, receiving and inspecting meat, maintaining cold chain, and upholding sanitation. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with meat-cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Uses knives and power equipment to cut and/or package authorized beef, pork, and poultry items according to Save A Lot policies and procedures.
• Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to Save A Lot procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers.
• Assist with product ordering.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain the cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A Lot policy.
