Hy-Vee Inc in Kansas is seeking a Meat Clerk in the Meat department to deliver prompt, friendly service while wrapping, trimming, stocking and receiving merchandise. This non-exempt role reports to store leadership and works within a fast-paced team to ensure product freshness and department standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, weighing and labeling products, preparing seafood displays, rotating stock, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting other areas as needed.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent and food safety training are preferred.
• Six months or less of similar or related work.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the Meat/Seafood Department.
• Wrap, weigh, label, stock, and rotate products for freshness.
• Assist customers by guiding them to products and answering questions over the phone or in person.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area while following company policies.
