Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Indianapolis is seeking a motivated Team Member to support the meat department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain clean displays and assist customers.

No prior retail experience required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including nights and weekends; role emphasizes safety, quality, and friendly service in line with WFM standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver friendly, efficient service.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and quality checks.
• Good communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing display; stock, rotate, and remove outdated products; fill ice tables.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling; keep areas full, clean, and appealing.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains.
• Attend required trainings and shifts; be punctual and well-groomed.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify pricing.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
