Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking and sanitation in the meat department. Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals and cold environments.
• Ability to use knives and cutting equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays; keep cases stocked and rotated.
• Keep back stock organized and accessible.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample areas clean and inviting.
• Clean cases, signs, coolers, floors, drains and equipment.
• Arrive on time; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide courteous customer service and suggestive selling.
• Ensure proper pricing and signage; follow procedures.
• Report safety hazards immediately; maintain hygiene standards.
• Support store leadership with additional duties as needed.
