Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years retail experience preferred with supervisor experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and strategic planning skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations and staff.
• Order and maintain inventory, ensuring product freshness.
• Review orders for quality and accuracy and rotate stock.
• Manage scheduling, labor control, and payroll expenses.
• Train and develop associates, set department goals and forecasts.
• Ensure food safety and store policies are followed.
