Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, train and direct Meat department associates.
• Maintain temperature logs and ensure accurate temperatures.
• Price and display merchandise, maintain signage and space.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Train and develop Meat department staff; ensure customer courtesy and productivity.
• Implement company policies and ensure harassment-free work environment.
• Make hiring/firing/disciplines decisions and evaluate staff.
• Promote company initiatives and process improvements with the team.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; perform performance reviews.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all department operations.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
