Saver Group, Inc is seeking a Meat Manager to oversee the store's meat department, drive sales, and maximize profitability by following the merchandising plan and preparing standard meat cuts. The role includes training staff, ordering products, maintaining inventory, and upholding cleanliness standards.

The position emphasizes high-quality customer service, safe handling of meat products, and adherence to company policies to ensure a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment (knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, power saw).
• Experience with ordering, rotation, training, monthly inventory preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and packages meat according to policies and procedures.
• Prepares and displays meat cuts to be attractive and appealing to customers.
• Orders product based on customer demand and reviews bills for proper billing.
• Receives and stores meat to maintain the cold chain and ensure quality.
• Maintains sanitation and quality standards daily.
