Job summary

Saver Group, Inc. is seeking a Meat Manager to lead the store's meat department, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure high standards of quality and sanitation.

You will train staff, order product, manage monthly counts, and uphold the company merchandising plan while delivering excellent customer service and consistent best-practice operations in a busy grocery environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, safety-conscious work, and the ability to lift heavy items as part of daily

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment, including but not limited to knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and power saw preferred.
• Experience with ordering, rotation, training, monthly inventory preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and packages beef, pork and poultry according to policies.
• Prepares meat cuts and displays them attractively in the counter.
• Orders product based on customer demand and reviews bills for proper billing.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat to maintain cold chain and quality.
• Maintains sanitation and quality standards daily as per policy.
• Responsible for monthly inventory and maximizing gross profit.
